How Much Briefing Helps?
I once sent a writer a short list of topics and assumed everything else was obvious. The draft came back very different from what I imagined, and I realized my instructions were the real problem. For my next project, I may use an affordable writing service, but this time I want to prepare a proper brief. What would you include in it? I am thinking about audience, tone, purpose, length, and examples, but I would like to know what other details can prevent confusion later.
